You're on holiday now.
This is the season the Michi was built for.
The road shoe that doesn't announce itself
The Michi is our road shoe, and it follows the same conviction as everything we make: your foot already knows what it's doing so we got out of the way.
Zero-drop, heel to toe, so you stand the way you were designed to stand: level, grounded, unhurried. A foot-shaped last with a wide toe box, so your toes can spread and work on every travel terrain. And an upper in clean, uncomplicated white, because the best travel shoe is the one that goes with everything you packed and asks for nothing in return.
You forget you're wearing them. Everyone else won't.
Miles, not workouts
There's a particular kind of movement that belongs to a European summer, and it isn't a training block. It's the accidental 20,000 steps. The pre-breakfast walk along the water because you woke with the light. The loop around the old town that turns into a second loop because the streets kept going.
The Michi is a road shoe in the truest sense, made for pavement, promenades, and the places where the map ends and you keep walking anyway. The flexible sole lets your foot read the ground under it: worn stone, boardwalk, the slight camber of a harbor road. It's the difference between moving through a place and actually feeling it..
Pack one pair
Here's the quiet-luxury of the Michi: it's the running shoe, the walking shoe, the dinner-on-the-terrace shoe, and the airport shoe. One pair, one corner of the suitcase, the whole month covered.
Black cap, marine layers, white Michi. That's the uniform. It works at the seawall at 7 a.m. and it works at the café at noon, and it never once looks like it's trying.

Wide toe box, wide open days
We talk a lot about foot health and natural toe splay, proprioception, letting the 26 bones and 33 joints in each foot do the work they evolved to do. All of that is true, and all of it matters more, not less, when you're logging holiday mileage.
But the simplest way to say it is this: feet that aren't fighting their shoes don't get tired. And feet that don't get tired are ready to the walk after dinner, the stairs up to the viewpoint, the last swim of the day.
The summer is long. Your feet should be able to keep up with it.
The Michi 1 - zero-drop, foot-shaped, road-ready.
