Wide toe box court shoe praised for comfort and zero-drop design. Customers said it's "the first zero drop wide toe box court shoe" with "great balance" and feels "light and nimble." Some concerns about durability, sole wear, and grip. A few noted sizing runs slightly large and laces are slippery. Overall highly rated for pickleball, tennis, and racquetball.

I took a big swing on a brand I had never heard of because I wanted a wider toe box. So far no regrets. Quality is solid, they look great, very sturdy.

I love my KOTO shoes. I wear minimal shoes all the time, but could not find a shoe to play pickleball in. The wide toolbox pickleball shoes I was wearing always made my feet hurt. I’ve been wearing the Koto shoes for one month playing 3 to 4 times a week and my feet are pain free. I love the zero rise and the roomy toe box. I am so glad I found this brand.

I played tennis all through high school and college and now very into pickleball. I play 2-4x a week. I've tried dozens of tennis shoes over the years but this is the first time I didn't need a break in period. My feet feel great after playing a couple of hours. The wide toe box is awesome and there's just enough cushion for comfort. Can't recommend these enough.

Very comfortable, enjoy playing in them.

Terrific shoe. I understand that this is an all court outsole, and it does the job pretty well on clay. Maybe in the future there will be enough demand for a clay specific outsole but it's not a deal breaker. The comfort is excellent and my feet feel fresh after two hours of tennis. Stock laces are a bit too stretchy and long but replaced with a shorter version and it works fine. Great release and will be back for more!

Hello Dean and thank you for your feedback!! We designed the Koto for court, so we do not have a lot of information on how it does on clay yet. Glad to hear it's working out well for you :)

I tried so many. But these are my favorites. Especially being able to expense through FHA.

I gotta say, I was sceptical (I even paid the extra for free returns)....but after one morning of intense pickleball....I'm so happy. Fit, feel, footwork, all an improvement over my previous "court" shoe. Highly recommend.

Love the wide toe box and zero drop great balance and quick movement. But after just 2.5 weeks, the sole and upper are already wearing out.

Overall great shoe. Slightly smaller toe box than I would have liked. Grip within the shoe itself is not the best.

In terms of comfort and performance this is my favorite court shoe of all time.

Unfortunately, as others have reported here, the durability of the sole is extremely poor. I've bought two pairs now, and both very quickly wore not only through the tread grooves but through the entire sole, leaving the shoes with noticeable holes.

Hopefully they can improve this in the next version of this otherwise excellent shoe.

Hi Kevin, thank you for sharing your feedback. I am glad to hear you have been enjoying the shoes! Regarding durability - We stand by our product, and we will contact you directly to discuss next steps. Thank you!

So far so good, I've had the shoes for a week now and the first thing I noticed was how light they are compare to my previous shoe. As I've worn them I've notice that my heel pain has gotten better even though the sole is very supportive, not hard butt not squishy soft either, definitely more on the firm supportive side of the spectrum. I've observe that I'm moving better on the court and it gets easier to move my feet. My previous court shoes had a very rubbery/squeaky sole and the Koto's while not slippery they allow me to slide the foot easier on small side to side movements or when pivoting. The only negative... After receiving my black pair the dropped the navy colorway which I would have preferred, oh well I might have to start playing more to wear this pair out and buy the Navy ones. ;)

So far they are great. Love the wide anatomical toe box. Was wearing Nike Le Brons 7. These are a better, wider, fit. Good grip for racquetball.

So far, so good! They fit great and my feet have plenty of room to move.

Very good foot-shaped shoe for tennis. What keeps it from being great is that it needs more cushioning. I added Blumaka extra-cushion insoles, which helped, but the shoe itself needs more cushioning to be a viable option for hard-court tennis. In order for me to order another pair in the future Notace will have to put some legit foam in this shoe.

Finally, a sensible court shoe that suits my splayed toes. Nothing else on the market ever felt right. These shoes strike the perfect balance between a natural foot shape and still having a real sole and name degree of cushioning.

The only thing is, the laces are too slippery, and they run slightly large. The sizing was just barely acceptable for me, but if you know you're on the smaller end of your typical size, go a half size down.

I cant believe this is the first zero drop wide toe box court shoe. They are incredible. Big things from these guys

I just move better and faster in these shoes because my foot feels the ground more and can spread out naturally!

The Koto 1 Men's shoe (size 14) is performing quite well with good support playing pickleball. The shoes seems to be well constructed and has a fairly durable sole as it is showing some wear after about 20 hours of play. My major complaint is that the toe box could be a little taller.

I wore the shoes last night for the first time for 3 hours of Pickleball. I love the wider toe box, the flat-no drop heel. A very comfortable shoe! If I got to make a modification it would be the strap that ends up right over the knuckle of my little toe. Having a bunion there, it aggravates the bunion. I would prefer the shoe without it. Everything considered, I would highly recommend this pair of shoes.

Love these shoes!!! I finally found shoes that are made for someone with extreme flat feet that needs a wide toe box. THANK YOU!!!

Great sneakers, wide toe box, zero heel to toe drop. Very light and comfortable. Slight heel slippage, I would add another hole up top for those who need to lock in the heel more.

These are the shoes I've been waiting for. My pickleball footwork is light and nimble with Notace Koto 1. To top it off, they are shaped like an actual human foot so I get full dynamic performance from my physical connection to the court.

I got these and was super hyped to find a shoe that works for my flipper like feet, however, this shoe didn't quite work for me. I love the concept however I found that internally there was a little too much movement. Maybe I went a size too large so it might be on me but it just didn't perform the way I was hoping. On the flip side, its a great shoe to walk around in and work out in but I was really hoping to land on the perfect shoe. That being said there are great reviews on the shoe so maybe I'm the outlier. It's kind of a catch 22 with shoes, you can only really find out how it performs after a good play test but then you can't return them because of the wear on the shoe.

I wore them to the gym and ran in them! They’re exactly what I needed.

I have wide feet and have developed a bunion, which means "normal" shoes simply don't fit well anymore. I've been wearing wide toe box, zero drop, and barefoot-style shoes to manage that — and while they help, most of them sacrifice support and cushioning to get the width right.

The Koto 1 is different. It gives me the wide toe box and zero drop I need, but adds real padding and court support that my other shoes can't match. I wore them for pickleball for the first time and they performed exceptionally well — comfortable, supportive, and noticeably light on my feet.

I picked up the heather grey and red in a men's 10.5, and I have to say — they look as good as they feel. I've gotten compliments already.

If you have wide feet, a bunion, or just refuse to choose between foot health and performance, these are the shoes you've been looking for.

Debated a few days trying them on, felt they were just a bit long. Also, the heel felt a bit wide.
Buy finally played in them, almost two hours mens drill moving my tail off Sunday. They were outstanding, my hiking, running, and fitness class boots/shoes are Topo with a similar wide toe box and little to no heel drop. I've been waiting on a company to make a good court shoe with the same design, your shoes fit that bill, glad I purchased. Will report back after a month or two. Thank you!

Got mine 10% off with code 10kpickleball. I'm a barefoot shoe user and have been looking for a good pickleball specific shoe. This one hits the spot! A good stable zero drop shoe that has a good toe guard for foot dragging.
