Love these shoes. So comfortable from day 1 at an amusement park and a 2.5 mile run on a treadmill. So lightweight and they look great, I’ve worn through a couple pair of Altra Escalante shoes and have some Merrells. I like the look of these better. One thing though, they run small. I’d advise sizing up 1/2 or 1 full size. I had to return my first pair for 1/2 size larger.

Loving my michi 1’s. This is my first go with Novace, and I think I’m in love. I work out at orange theory, so I have ran 4+ miles at once in them, sprinted, rower, and weight floor. Love feeling the ground under me! I find I have better grip when I’m on the weight floor jumping, squatting, etc. I sized up 1/2 size and perfect! Very cute shoe…several folks have stopped me to ask about them. Even my husband noticed and wants a pair…ordering now!

Love everything about the shoes, except how the eyelet at the big toe rubs on my bunion. That irritation create a spiral affect into my hips . Love the wide toe box, so I laces the shoe without using that eyelet and all is well.

These shoes are the lightest I've ever worn. They are extremely comfortable, and I can't wait to wear them on my vacation to the South of France.

Im am more in love with my Michi 1 (white/cream) than I anticipated.
Sleek and current design, breathable mesh upper, flexible yet supportive. I felt more tall as I walked. It was a light happy change to my gait. I think they will be a pleasure to travel with in lieu of bulking 'traditional' shoes.

These are the best looking natural shape shoes I’ve found. They’re comfortable and I think have improved my balance. I found them to be truer to size, once my orthotics were put in.

I’d like my next pair to have speed laces.

I’m not happy with this purchase. The shoes have virtually no arch support. There is no way I can wear them. For the price of $165.00, I expected a better designed shoe.

I like the shoes, but they seem to be too short...I ordered 1/2 size up based on the reviews, but should have ordered one full size up. I'll wear them for a while and make a decision about whether to order more then.

Historically, I hate wearing shoes. As soon as I get home, they come off. However, the first day I wore my Notace Michis, I had no problem continuing to wear them. They walk that fine line between being light enough to be comfortable and protective enough to inspire confident movement. The tongue stays in place, they have enough room for my long big toe, and they breathe spectacularly. I’m so excited to keep wearing these shoes!

Very lightweight and breathable with good support while having a barefoot feel

I've only had these shoes for 3 weeks but they are exactly what I've been looking for. My feet are used to 7mm stack or less but I started running and need some cushion. The 30mm stacks from Altra are not it. This shoe has the perfect amount of cushion without hindering natural foot movement and flex. I love them! My only concern would be how they hold up over time because the sole is so light it might not be as durable, but we'll see!

I think I really like these shoes. I may not have walked enough in them to be clear. They are so different from anything I’ve worn before, but are very comfortable. I feel stable and grounded.

I was looking for a wide toe box shoe that would be zero drop and not barefoot, but that also would not have excess cushioning like most tennis shoes available. As a matter of fact, I developed plantar fasciitis precisely because I started wearing barefoot shoes for walking in the city. I had been wearing barefoot shoes for hiking in the forest and that was wonderful because the major brand hiking shoes and boots were squeezing my toes and giving me cramps and other pain. Barefoot on the trail is ideal because it allows for feeling the ground and working out feet muscles, BUT in the city, oh boy, we aren’t made to step on cement and asphalt. The Michi 1 has given me instant relief. Really, as soon as I put them on, the pain starts going away. Combined with the physical therapy, my feet have already recovered considerably in just one week! In the USA, I was not able to find anything comparable, so I was so happy to find Notace! No more squeezing toes and hammering hard ground! No more pain! We’ll be going hiking around the world and these shoes are my main asset! When I pass through Europe, I will pick up another pair!

Great fit and feel to this shoe. Supportive yet flexible sole, solid contact with the ground but not bare foot. And they look nice!

I love how they look, but I need to exchange for a half size up. The size I normally wear a bit tight.

Wide enough but too short. My big toe was hitting the toe box. Get a size larger from your usual. Shame as would have been perfect otherwise. Good cushioning for plantar fasciitis but still a barefoot no drop.

Right out of the box my Michi 1 trainers fit perfectly, comfortable, wide toe box, low profile and after completing a 5 mile walk I realized I’d found my favorite shoe! I highly recommend and I will purchase again.

I love the roomy toe box and my being "feeling" grounded while I'm moving around in my daily life. They are still new in my experience but I am extremely hopeful. I have been looking for a long time.

Love these shoes. I have a wide size foot and the large toe box is a pleasure.
The footpad smells like rubber and when worn the smell is intensified on both the shoe and feet.
I replaced the insert with a charcoal odor eater and that helped tremendously.
Additionally, the original insert does not absorbe moisture well.

I have used every kind of shoe. After a botched foot surgery, neuroma and general foot issues …. THIS IS THE SHOE!!

Please dont be the shoe brand that changes something every 6 months.

My most recent favorites are xero - these provide a natural cushion that that xero leaves out. Straight out of the box, I wore for over 12k steps !
